As our loyal followers already know, at Elliot Rhodes we like to mix different textures and materials. In this variation of the Jolson design we have created a negative of the original by superposing the criss cross "dadino" textured wave pattern on the edges instead of the centre, framing the denim running down the spine of the strap; an interesting twist that adds the contrast and tactile feel we love. The design also reaches the loops where a touch of denim has been inserted within the dadino texture. Combine all of the above with some contrast stitching and the result is a belt design that is fun, highly crafted and original. The colour, mixing three different shades of blue, is versatile and perfect to wear with jeans as well as slightly smarter trousers, always with that touch of cool that you get from denim. We have paired the strap with a stylish raised front silver buckle that simply adds lightness of tone to the combination and is suitably weighty to counterbalance the handcrafted leather.
